Obie Saddler Jr. received his Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Iowa in 1993. Thereafter, he attended the University of Nebraska College of Law where he graduated with his Juris Doctorate degree in 1996.
After graduation from law school, Obie moved back to his hometown of Waterloo, Iowa. Upon passing the Iowa Bar Exam, the Iowa Supreme Court licensed Obie to practice law in June of 1996. He was later also admitted to practice in the Federal Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Iowa.
Obie began his legal career as a litigation attorney with one of the premier personal injury firms in the State of Iowa. Obie was associated with the firm for over 9 years. During that time, he tried cases in both federal and state court. He also enjoyed the opportunity to brief and argue cases on appeal to both the Iowa Court of Appeals and the Iowa Supreme Court.
During his time as a litigation attorney in Iowa, Obie lectured and presented to members of the Iowa Trial Lawyer’s Association on various topics, including workers’ compensation case management, witness preparation, and handling biomechanical experts. In addition, Obie showed his commitment to education by teaching paralegal studies courses as an adjunct instructor in both Iowa and Arizona from 2002 to 2006.
Once Obie relocated his family to Arizona, he started work as a Litigation Attorney in the Goldberg & Osborne Phoenix Litigation Office, where he continues to apply his talents in service of our clients.
