Pilar is originally from Medellin, Colombia. She obtained a law degree from Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana in 2000 and is licensed to practice in Colombia.
In 2001, Pilar moved to Tucson with her husband. She received her Masters of Arts from the University of Arizona Political Science Department in 2003. During graduate school, Pilar researched in the fields of international and comparative politics. In 2006, Pilar received her Juris Doctor from the University of Arizona James E. Rogers College of Law. She is admitted to practice in the State of Arizona and before the Arizona United States District Court. Pilar joined the law firm of Goldberg & Osborne in May, 2005, as a law clerk, and currently works as an attorney with the firm's Tucson Litigation office. In her free time, Pilar enjoys playing tennis, hiking, and spending time with her family.
