Darren Clausen is a Tucson native and a second-generation Arizona attorney. Mr. Clausen graduated on the Dean’s List from West Virginia Wesleyan College in 1994, where he was also a member of the basketball team, named team captain his senior year. Mr. Clausen attended the University of Arizona James E. Rogers College of Law where he graduated with a Juris Doctorate degree in 1998.
During law school, Mr. Clausen participated in Moot Court, Basic and Advanced Trial Advocacy, and the Rule 38E program sponsored by the Arizona Supreme Court. As part of the Rule 38E program, Mr. Clausen tried over fifty trials on behalf of the State through the Pima County Prosecutor’s Office and handled several juvenile cases through the Pima County Juvenile Public Defender’s Office.
Mr. Clausen has been a member of the Arizona State Bar since 1999. He is admitted to practice before the United States Federal District Court and has argued before a three-judge panel of the Arizona Court of Appeals. He is also a member of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America and the Arizona Trial Lawyers Association.
Mr. Clausen’s practice is professional negligence. He has represented plaintiffs in actions against doctors, hospitals and attorneys. Mr. Clausen also has experience representing the interests of plaintiffs in class action lawsuits, assisting thousands of clients in lawsuits involving legal malpractice and the negligence of a municipality.
In his spare time, he is an avid sports fan and enjoys fishing and travelling within Mexico. He is married to Natalie, a speech-language pathologist, and they have three wonderful children.
